Investigate! Invent! Innovate!

Investigate! Invent! Innovate!, or I3, is a free experiential learning program for Grades 7 and 8 that challenges students to identify a problem and invent a solution.  Students develop an entrepreneurial mindset by researching a problem, building a prototype, and developing a business plan and marketing strategies to promote their invention. The program culminates in an Invention Convention, where students showcase their inventions.

Investigate! Invent! Innovate! engages students by following an inquiry-based learning model and includes comprehensive lesson plans and other resources, as well as training and ongoing support. The program can be integrated to teach a range of subjects, including science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), language arts, visual arts and social studies helping students cultivate creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The program is available to public school students in English and French.
